On my way home from Iceland in August, my flight consisted of a one day layover in London. When booking my initial flight to Iceland, I knew I had a one nigh stay in London. So with the one night stay, I booked “The Caesar” hotel as my accommodation for the night. This hotel was really nice and was located down the block from a beautiful park, Kesington Gardens.

After checking in, I thought since I only had one day why not try to see some of the London Landmarks. I set out by making my way to the Buckingham Palace.

The Palace was really nice and the surrounding are made this palace even more detailed.
Next on my list of sights was the London Eye. I’ve seen many Ferris wheels in my lifetime, but nothing like this. The size and structure of this wheel was really nice and beautiful. Even had different color changing themes at night.

Last Stop on my landmark journey was the London Bridge. Very well designed structure, this bridge gives you a real feel of how historic London architecture really is.

Overall from everything that I saw in London, it was actually a good day. Being from New York, London is definitely just as busy of a city as back home. I will definitely go back to visit so I can experience the various different excursions London has to offer.
